We’ve added another workshop for the afternoon.  Escondido URC will present a workshop on building personal first aid kits and field survival skills; a great addition to our morning workshop about backpacking.

 Make it a family day!!  There is a trip planned for families to the USS Midway Museum while the workshop conference is going on.  Planned departure for the museum will be at 9:45am from Bayview OPC.  Tickets are available on the USS Midway Museum website (http://www.midway.org/).  Visit the museum website for offered discounts (changes periodically, so check often).

Regular prices are:

Adults – $20 Seniors – $17 Student (w/ID) – $15 Military – $10
Youth (6 and up) – $10 Children (0-5) – Free Active Military – Free

Purchasing tickets online will save $2.00 per ticket.

The council approved a $5/per ticket rebate to help defray the ticket cost for anyone visiting the museum on 2/6/16.
